Halo Reach




I, like a lot of people can't wait for Halo: Reach. But, as a person who read the books and understands the depth of the universe that Bungie created, doesn't it seem like a waste for their final Halo?

There is still so much in the story that has yet to be explained and for their last big Halo game they make a prequel? Just seems nonsensical to me with respect to the story.

    I'm going to have to agree with you here. Your blog is one of the more entertaining to read, so I'm following you.

    This way, Bungie'll have to make games/content of some sort that ties up the open ends in the Trilogy, as well as whatever comes from this prequel game. If they closed up the open ends first, then making this game would seem more like a pointless spinoff.

    ...if what I said made any sense.

    In all fairness Halo 3 was the "last" installment but the fans keep wanting more and who can say no to all that money? I'm sure there will be a movie to elaborate on some of the things we've read about but haven't played through in a game.

    I'd have to agree man, Halo: Reach looks pretty sick. I also agree that they can make some other games about some of the other cool stories throughout Halo.

    The Fall of Reach is pretty much the most important event in Spartan History, isn't it? Worth a game, I say. But then again, I really only play Halo for the MP these days. Still haven't beaten Halo 2 or 3 despite playing hundreds of games online. I'd rather go back and play CE on Legendary, to be honest.
